privacy
chore wheel is built to hold as little as possible, and to keep what it does hold private to your household.
what i collect
the household details you enter as the admin — a household name, owner name, rotation frequency and start date, and notes.
your household roster — each member's name, an emoji avatar, and a color label.
the chores you define (name, category, frequency, effort) and, each rotation period, who's assigned to which chore and whether it's marked done, skipped, or still open, plus an optional note and who marked it complete.
what i use it for
generating each period's rotation and showing your household who's responsible for what, right now.
what i'll never do
sell your data, run ads against it, or share your household's chore list with anyone outside it.
where your data lives
in a private, access-controlled postgres database. there's no public listing — your household's pages use a separate, long, unguessable link, so access is controlled by having that link, not an account check. no ads, trackers, or analytics scripts on any page.
if you open chore wheel from homebase, your homebase account email is shown in that session's page header only — chore wheel doesn't store it.
your data, your call
remove a member, a chore, or an assignment any time from the admin page. email me if you want a household's data gone for good.
